Sports Premium
At Brookfield, PE and sport are a vital part of school life, with pupils engaging in activities ranging from the daily mile to high-quality specialist PE lessons, alongside opportunities to work with experts from the worlds of rugby, cricket, gymnastics and athletics.
The PE and Sport Premium is additional funding provided by the government to primary schools to improve the quality of physical education, sport and physical activity for all pupils. It is used to develop staff expertise, increase participation in sport, and promote healthy, active lifestyles. We carefully plan how this funding is spent to ensure it has a lasting impact on pupils’ skills, confidence and wellbeing.
